Booking Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions are very important information for members who are willing to book trekking, Expedition and travel trips with Plan a Trek and Expedition Company. The Terms and Conditions contain the information to the client regarding the procedures of Booking Confirmation, Payment & Refund System, Cancellation and Other Charges levied as per policy. You are suggested to read and understand it carefully before declaration of booking any packages. The Booking Terms and Conditions constitute a legally required contract between Plan a trek & Expedition along with you for the services to be provided by us and set out the basis of your legal relationship with our Company. The terms and conditions are as below:
1. Bookings and Payments
To make a Booking you must send us a completely filled Booking Application Form, with 25% of payment of the trekking/hiking/tour cost and 40% of the peak climbing/mountaineering cost. This will constitute acceptance by you of these Terms and Conditions. You need to submit a scan copy of each passport of the team to our office via email including passport size picture. Balance 75% of trekking cost and 60% of peak climbing/expedition cost should be made in Kathmandu before departure for the Trip. The trekking/tour/ climbing/expedition trip is starting only after full payments of the total trip cost. The cost is valid as agreed.
Cancellation rule for Trekking/Hiking/Tour/Climbing etc.
- If cancellation made before 30 days of the trip departure date, 20% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation and rest will be adjusted in their next trip or refunded after deducting the processing charge of Nepal Rastra Bank to make a draft.
- If cancellation made before 15 days of the trip departure date, 35% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation, further will be same as above process.
- If Cancellation made before 10 days of the trip departure date 50% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation.
- If cancellation made within the week of departure or upon arrival in Kathmandu will not be refunded. Due payment should be made or claimed by legal process by the company.
Cancellation rule for Peak Climbing & Expedition
- Cancellation before 60 days of the trip, 25% cancellation will be charged.
- Cancellation Before 30 days of the trip 50% cancellation will be charged.
- Cancellation Before 15 days of the trip 75% cancellation will be charged.
- Cancellation less than 15 days no refund will be provided.
The cost of Climbing Permit/s already purchased is/are not refundable.
