The first climber of Annapurna North Base Camp trekking was the French group led by Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal. After that, the route became popular as the French North Face Route. Before 1950, Man conquered no mountain with a height above 8000m. North Annapurna Base Camp did not climb again until 1970. In 1970 the British Army Expedition followed the same trail to reach into the submit. Because of difficulty, only a few people have North Annapurna Base Camp Trek.

Best time for Annapurna 1 Base Camp Trek
Annapurna I Base Camp Trek (North Annapurna Base Camp) is possible throughout the year, however, it is important to consider the best time of the year to trek in this region. Winter and monsoon seasons are not recommended due to extreme weather conditions. Autumn and Spring season are considered the best season for trekking to the Annapurna North Base Camp. Details Itinerary of Annapurna 1 Base Camp Trek
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
After you arrive in Kathmandu, Plan A Trek & Expedition representative will pick you up from the Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to your hotel.
Day 2: Preparation day and optional sightseeing in Kathmandu.
We will do planning for the trekking.
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head towards Pokhara and stay overnight there.
Day 4: Drive from Pokhara to Ghasa.
On this day, we will be driving towards Ghasa, where we will spend at Ghasa
Day 5: Trek from Ghasa to Riverside Camp
After having a good breakfast, we will begin our trek from Ghasa to Riverside Camp. Here we will stay overnight tent camp.
Day 6: Trek from Riverside Camp to Jungle Camp
Today, we will trek to Jungle Camp from Riverside Camp, where we will also stay tent-camping
Day 7: Trek from Jungle Camp to Miristi Khola.
We will be trekking to the Miristi Khola from Jungle Camp. Miristi Khola is the river that feeds into the Kaligandaki river just above Tatopani.
Day 8: Rest and acclimatizing day in Miristi Khola,
On this day, we will see the enthralling scenes of the Miristi River along with other mesmerizing factors. Here we will stop for the acclimatization to prevent us from altitude sickness.
Day 9: Trek from Miristi Khola to North Annapurna Base Camp
Walking through the steep uphill of the rocky hills, we will be trekking forward to the Annapurna I base camp or North Annapurna Base Camp. We will be residing here to relish the beauty of the surrounding mountains.
Day 10: Trek from Annapurna North Base Camp to Miristi Khola.
Today, we will trek to the Miristi Khola from Annapurna North Base Camp. It is a crucial part of the Annapurna I Base Camp trek. So we can have a close-up view of Annapurna Base Camp. Also, while returning, we will be able to witness the various beauty of nature.
Day 11: Trek from Miristi Khola to Jungle Camp
We will be heading towards Jungle Camp from Miristi Khola. On this day, we will be residing here.
Day 12: Trek from Jungle Camp to Riverside Camp and to Lete
On this day, we will be trekking from Jungle Camp to the mystic village of Lete, where we will stay overnight.
Day 13: Trek from Lete to Tatopani.
We will be trekking from Lete to Tatopani, where we can enjoy a hot-spring bath. We will be spending the whole night in Tatopani.
Day 14: Drive from Tatopani to Pokhara
On this day, we will be driving to Pokhara from Tatopani. If you are interested, then you can go sightseeing in Pokhara. Visiting the city of Lakes, Pokhara, you will be astonished by the beauty of this tranquil city.
Day 15: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
We will be driving back from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Day 16: Final international departure, Goodbye, and Namaste
